Strategic Communications and Marketing Manager
The Strategic Communications & Marketing Manager - Commercial Banking leads all communication and marketing efforts within a business line or in support of strategic corporate initiatives. This includes the development, management and execution of a communications and marketing strategy that delivers world class communications, marketing, and business support. Areas of responsibility include business line-specific or initiative-specific internal communications, client/prospect communications and sales materials. Integrates and coordinates messages across audiences and channels ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and brand.
A comprehensive understanding of Commercial Treasury Management, Communications and Marketing is integral to this position. In addition to being highly motivated, the ideal candidate for this position will excel in a matrix management environment, have strong collaboration skills, ability to negotiate, and work independently.
•Leads internal communications strategy and execution of individual communications for the business line’s product capabilities and other initiatives across all of Commercial Banking. Effectively builds relationships with the organization to help achieve business line, division, and corporate goals. Provides counsel and communications supports to business line stakeholders.•Leads client communication plans and executes against individual communications that clearly share product changes and other business line initiatives.•Develops business line marketing plans and individual marketing initiatives that promote cross-sell of product capabilities to prospects and clients through thought leadership and other tactics. Creates effective business line content and graphics that are shared across multiple channels. Ensures that marketing initiatives and content are achieving measurable results, and align with corporate brand, compliance, and media relations/internal communications.•Develops materials for the business line sales force to use in effectively cross-selling product capabilities. Validates that materials are effective and achieving desired results
·8+ years – Internal Communications and/or marketing experience
·Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
·Adept at communicating to various audiences and via various channels
·Ability to think strategically while leading execution
·Desire to thrive in fast-paced, challenging environment with tight deadlines
·Teamwork minded, strong organizations skills
·Expertise in PowerPoint MS word, excel and SharePoint
- Commercial Banking and/or Treasury Management experience
