This is a multi-level position that can be a salary grade G10 (CO16 Manager II Brand Comms) or G11 (CO17 Manager III Brand Communications) based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position.

Job Description

Raytheon Missile Systems seeks a Brand Communications Manager II that will be responsible for guiding others in the organization to deliver a consistent brand voice and imagery. Reporting to the director of Global Branding, responsibilities will include utilizing communication tools and tactics, digital/social, multimedia while leading the advertising function for the business. Working closely with other communications functions, including PR, Community Relations and Internal Communications, this individual will develop clear, concise and differentiated messaging, leveraging data to evaluate the effectiveness of communications programs in order to course correct, report and improve brand.

This role requires a self-directed, strategic thinker who is comfortable serving in an advisory role to executives while executing a wide range of communication deliverables.

The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • ·Execution of enterprise-wide external communications programs and projects to enhance the Raytheon Brand in U.S. and international markets
  • ·Developing core marketing messages that contribute to comprehensive communications strategies
  • ·Leveraging digital and social media channels as well as traditional media
  • ·Managing external marketing agencies

Required Experience& Skills:

  • ·8 years professional experience within a communications related field
  • ·Ability to translate complex material in to insight driven strategies
  • ·Ability to design and analyze customer and market competitive research
  • ·Ability to lead, manage and participate on teams
  • ·A proven ability to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • ·Strong writing and editing skills
  • ·Project management skills and experience
  • ·Working knowledge of all communication disciplines including social media and community relations

Education:

  • ·Bachelors or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations or related field required.MBA preferred
