Technical Responsibilities: 

Accountable for agile technical delivery of ConnectKey and EIP Apps  

  1. Develops thought leadership of apps through independent research along with networking with researchers and software development colleagues in related technical organizations
  2. Participate in and ensure development and regular update of Apps Roadmap along with research, planning and business representatives; Roadmap must include numerous initiatives aligned to support strategy business objectives
  3. Accountable for technical requirements in support of business needs and requirements; Assigns development of technical requirements to System Engineer(s) on staff
  4. Accountable for building and maintaining Scrum Team(s) responsible for delivery of each release of each App initiative; Each scrum team to include an Implementation Manager on staff (includes Scrum Master and Software Configuration Management roles) along with Lead SW Developer, Additional Developers and Scrum QA Engineer(s)
  5. Bottom line accountability for delivery of App initiatives within Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments and compliant to security and attribution/licensing requirements
  6. Regularly evaluates and ensures alignment of team financials to RDE funding allocations
  7. Regularly observes combined set of team delivery schedules per business priorities, identifies both pinch points and down cycles; adjusts resource assignments and sets proper expectations as needed to ensure effective and efficient delivery
  8. Ensures proper sustaining support for released Apps along with compliance to latest and supported operating systems, browsers, etc

HR Management and Leadership Responsibilities

  1. Works with management chain to creates positive working environment that balances technical challenge with personal development of staff and team
  2. Supports strengths-based leadership and coaching to include identifying technical and personal strengths of each individual and aligning team for best energy, interest and output
  3. Staff to include Implementation Manager(s) and System Engineer(s); provides regular HR feedback to staff including informal mid-year and formal end-of-year performance evaluation; engages in career development discussion with each staff member at least annually
  4. Fulfill all other manager responsibilities per HR policy

Education requirements: 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business plus 5 years of HR management experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus 10 years of overall work experience.

Technical Skills/Experience Required: 

  1. MVC, Entity Frameworks
  2. Microsoft development environment and toolset: C#/.NET, MS application development, TFS
  3. Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) SDK 
  4. Web development: HTML, Javascript, CSS, AngularJS
  5. Secure coding and secure IT trained
  6. Black Duck attribution/licensing tool trained

Leadership Skills/Experience Required: 

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Strong proactive, systems thinking 
  3. Works well across teams and organizations
  4. Good project management skills
