As a part of this mission Forcepoint is looking for a Contracts Manager to work in the corporate Legal department with the government focused Contracts team.

This individual will report to the Sr. Director of Contracts, and will interact with sales, finance, and executive management, among others.  Responsibilities will include performance of contract administration and management duties for Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) Government contracts related to the acquisition of commercial products and services. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge and experience related to all types of Government contracting actions, solicitation, administration, and close-out. Experience dealing with the General Services Administration (GSA), is desired.  This individual will be looked to as the subject matter expert in the above areas, be responsive to multiple internal stakeholders’ requests, and will be charged with resolving issues and providing solutions to problems that may arise within the context of their areas of responsibility.   This role requires an individual who possesses great communication and leadership skills, and one who thrives working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Qualifications include:

  •          Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Level of Effort (LOE), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), type contracts
  •          Possess extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD Supplement (DFAR), with an emphasis on FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items
  •          Must be knowledgeable of Export Control Regulation – International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR
  •          Must have expertise with General Services Administration (GSA) E-Tools, including GSA Advantage, eBuy, GSA eLibrary, and eOffer/eMod along with FedBizOps responses.
  •          Perform the duties associated with contract administration and management for Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) Government contracts for the acquisition of commercial products and services 
  •          Work closely with sales executives and company management
  •          Participate in front-end assessments of business development opportunities, including responding to Government Request for Proposals (RFP)s/Request for Quotes (RFQ)s, and negotiation of Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements
  •          Participate in the proposal review and approval process
  •          Work with Finance team to establish and maintain GSA Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) reporting in accordance with GSA rules and regulations
  •          Must have in-depth knowledge of licensing of commercial software, including End User Licensing Agreements (EULA), Service Level Agreements (SLA), Reseller Agreements, Software Evaluation Agreements, and System Integrator Agreements

Ideal Candidate's Education, Competencies, and Experience:

  •        Bachelor’s degree required
  •        5-7 years of direct experience working in Federal contract management/administration
  •        Comfortable working with geographically distributed work-groups
  •        Possesses an active security clearance, preferably TS or above, with either the DoD or intelligence community, or would be able to obtain a security clearance in the future
  •        Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clear and concise communications via email, letter, in person, and over the telephone
  •        Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
  •        Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills to effectively bring projects to completion
  •        Must be highly self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
  •        Works well in a team environment, and comfortable sharing knowledge as well as accepting input from others
  •        Able to grow and evolve within the position to take on other tasks and duties when made available
  •        Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in the handling of sensitive materials and maintaining confidentiality
