Channel Account Manager - Data Protection

Our client is a world leader that provides data protection and recovery via the cloud. Their software solutions offer a set of efficient and integrated data protection capabilities including backup in physical and virtual settings. They are seeking to hire an experienced Account Managerresponsible for maintaining and growing assigned channelpartnerships and promote growth and new business. The role will be to work closely with the partner on an ongoing basis to ensure client's satisfaction, ensure renewal and identify upsell and cross sell opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, nurture and manage assigned partner accounts
  • Establish and maintain existing partner relationships that ensure retention and increase business
  • Increase partner loyalty and develop strategies to drive and ensure revenue
  • Manage sales planning, sales trends, client expectations, training, etc.
  • Articulate the Channel partnership value proposition of solutions and products
  • Identify business opportunities within current partner accounts; upsell and/or cross sell
  • Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.
  • Research analytics and market trends, as well as competitors

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Min. 3+ years Channel Sales experience
  • Experience in Data Protection and/or Data Storage industry
  • Experience with Channel Partnerships
  • Drive maximum sales productivity, upsell and/or cross sell
  • Responsible for sales and achieving revenue goals
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationship with channel partners
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent Relationship Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
  • Ability to travel as needed within territory

 

Offering:

  • Base Salary $80,000+ (based on experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $120,000 - $150,000
  • Full Benefits Package
