Assistant General Counsel
The Associate General Counsel provides legal services in support of PeaceHealth including its operating units, subsidiaries and related organizations
Job description:
- Drafts and analyzes contracts affecting the healthcare operations of the organization, including clinical affiliation, clinical research, supply chain, payor and other agreements.
- Provides legal advice in the areas of clinical affiliation and clinical research and institutional review board (IRB).
- Prepares, reviews, and edits legal documents and filings.
- Conducts legal research and analysis.
Job requirements:
- Juris-Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Superior academic performance
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney in health law.
- Admission to state bar associationrequired.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Juris-Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Superior academic performance
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney in health law.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION -
- Admission to state bar association required.
OTHER SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment.
- Technical proficiency in Word and database management.
