The Dealer Development Research Manager, Motorrad is responsible for providing BMW’s Motorrad business with extensive research on future untapped potential for dealer network points to help maximum dealer profitability and broaden the current Motorrad dealer network. Theincumbent will work to develop additional dealer development strategies supporting future expansion of product offerings, search for key investors, drive facility CI discussions with BMW AG and implement new ideas for sustainable dealer development strategies and sales channel processes.
Other responsibilities include working with our dealer body to tailor plans to their specific customer base needs and anticipated growth for motorcycle sales plus aftersales and service goals. This includes tapping in to new dealer revenue streams & working with legal to develop updates to our dealer agreement aligned with recent changes to state franchise law statutes to ensure that a consistent and appropriate consumer brand experience is promoted as we together enter into new customer led strategies.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or equivalent workexperience required
- 5 years automotive/Power sports OEM experience to include:
- Proven track record of accomplishing dealer objectives within in the US legal climate
- Experience with dealer development strategy execution
- In depth knowledge of USA motorcycle dealership business model and industry
- Motorcycle License Holder and/or willingness to obtain motorcycle license
