The job duties involve understanding customer requirements, market climate, competitive landscape, market and revenue opportunities in light of opportunity analysis. Creating new product specifications, messaging and positioning, conducting tactical competitive analysis, and developing customer and press programs. Additional responsibilities include: developing forecast assumptions packages, driving long-range planning, managing product life-cycle, and critical decision management.
