The manager of the initiative should have extensive project management and research experience with a focus on communications planning and implementation, a background in working with coalitions and partnerships, and a strong understanding of the media and policy issues facing the nonprofit community. The manager will also have a deep understanding of the challenges in nonprofit and foundation communications and the enthusiasm to mobilize leaders from a wide variety of organizations.
