High-growth venture-backed leader in the interactive/mobile media space desires dynamic individual with experience securing successful media buys, leveraging online media partnerships with publishers and networks, and sourcing and maintaining exceptional media relationships/placements to drive growth and revenue. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is performance oriented and thrives in a fast paced environment.


 


Leveraging your vast rolodex of relationships with tier-one portals, online publishers, networks and ad exchanges, you will be focused on the identification, negotiation, acquisition and optimization of profitable CPM and CPA based media placements to drive effective consumer conversion and achieve targeted objectives.

About the Position


 


Responsibilities:


-Identify and foster relationships with top-tier portals, online publishers, and ad networks to secure profitable media.


 


- Evaluate and negotiate online advertising deals while leveraging existing industry relationships with media partners that drive online traffic and result in improved customer acquisition.


 


- Manage pricing and profitability of media placements while developing new and leveraging current key relationships.


 


- Assist in the development and execution of online optimization strategies


 


- Partner with campaign management team to establish strategies that deliver and enhance target metrics. 


 


- Actively analyze campaign performance based on revenue goals and targeting; renegotiate successful media placements at minimal cost; optimize campaigns on a continuing basis to maximize ROI.  


- Achieve quarterly and annual targets tied directly to performance bonus.

Requirements:


 - BA/BS degree


 


 - 5-8 years total (MUST HAVE online media buying experience) identifying, negotiating and optimizing online media on a CPM and CPA basis. Should also have served in an online marketing campaign management and/or digital agency account management role.


 


 - Must be a “hunter” with above-average negotiation skills.  


 


 - Proven record of success buying and optimizing profitable and effective online media.


 


 - Accomplished in dynamics of negotiating valuable online media deals with proficiency in behavioral targeting, analytics, online marketing metrics and optimization strategies.


 


-  Extensive professional rolodex and industry contacts required.


 


- Must have strong analytical aptitude and possess exceptional quantitative and verbal skills.
