A fortune 100 company is currently recruiting highly motivated marketing professionals with experience in full life cycle product development for technical products or services. Experience in the Radio Frequency Identification, software or web-based services industries is a plus.
The most competitive applicant will have a minimum of 8-10 years experience managing the product development planning and release scheduling process for technical products/services and enhancements. They will have participated in the development of revenue and volume goals, net contribution goals, business plans, and corporate marketing strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develops annual and long term product and service
business plans, and assists other Marketing Specialist with
same.
2. Develops revenue, volume and net contribution goals for
products and services, providing guidance to other staff
engaged in the process.
3. Coordinates the implementation of all strategies
identified in the product and service business plans,
including, product standards and features, pricing,
acceptance and customer convenience policies, operations
support, and advertising, sales and promotions programs.
4. Ensures that the implementation of rate and classification
filings for products and services is coordinated with Finance
and Planning and Law.
5. Develops and assists other Marketing Specialists in the
development of customized mailing plans for business
customer products and services.
6. Develops and coordinates the implementation of new
strategic alliances to extend/expand domestic Postal
Service offerings.
7. Develops, tests, and coordinates the implementation of
new products and services.
8. Develops and coordinates implementation of employee
development training programs.
9. Assists in setting product and marketing priorities and
schedules, assigns special marketing duties, and produces
reports on all aspects of the marketing effort.
10. Develops effective working relationships with business
customers and organizational entities to ensure optimum
cooperation and coordination and maximize the quality of
products and services.
11. May manage a small group of professional employees
including administrative responsibilities of assigning work
and evaluating performance.
