The Director of Marketing will have full responsibility for upstream and downstream marketing and is the manager of the development and implementation of marketing strategy and product development efforts. There will considerable interface with R&D, quality, regulatory affairs, and other functions within the organization as well as heavy interface with the customer and key opinion leaders for product innovations and new products. Experience in the management of product managers and other marketing professionals, global collaboration, and a prior history of successful product launches are requirements. The formulation of strategic business plans, P&L responsibility, budget development, and the ability to continuously evaluate trends and adjust strategy to compensate and take advantage of shifts in the marketplace are required.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of successful medical device marketing management experience with direct involvement in marketing and product management. Experience in medical disposables is highly desirable. A track record of success that demonstrates analytical marketing skills and innovation is strongly preferred.
