Business Development Specialist

Our client, a major law firm, is seeking a Business Development Specialist.  Working with the firm’s attorneys, the successful candidate will be integrally involved in the success of the firm’s marketing and business development activities.  Specifically, the successful candidate will:

- conduct research on industry trends

- insure that the marketing materials for the practice groups are

  up-to-date, accurate and complete

- insure that the attorneys carry out their marketing and business

  development activities

- draft pitches and proposals

- work with the Media Relations Specialist to maintain effective

  press coverage

This is a high visibility position which will provide opportunities for career development.  While a J.D. is not required, it is preferred. A four year undergraduate degree is required.  The successful candidate will be proactive, persistent and committed to the position.  An engaging personality is also required.  A minimum of three years of work experience in a professional services environment is required.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
