Principal, Enterprise IT Infrastructure

A Principal - Enterprise IT, Silicon Valley for a leading U.S. based investment firm (Venture Capital/Private Equity) that manages nearly $3 billion in committed capital.

Key Requirements:

 1. 8-12 yrs experience which includes: 

a.) VC firm Sr. Associate or Principal level focused on Enteprise IT infrastructure investments

OR 

b.) VP or Director Business Development, Product Management or Corporate Development at a high profile high tech company or start-up in one of the industries (below) ONLY: virtualization, storage, open source enterprise IT (eg. JBOSS, etc.), cloud computing, networking, security or infrastructure software.

2. Must have experience mapping markets, analyzing trends.

3. Strong network in technology is critical. They will not consider individuals who are not well-networked in the Silicon Valley and industry.

4. Previous investing/deal experience is not required though helpful.

5. Culture fit is very important: highly extroverted personality is essential for this particular firm.

6. Technical undergraduate degree in Engineering or related fields. MBA is desired but not required.

7. Must currently reside in Silicon Valley. No relocations will be considered as it is important to the firm that this person have strong, existing networks already established locally.
