JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Role:
Serve as a key leader within an internal team and will have a mandate to cultivate, build, and grow new relationships with national nonprofits, communities, and business leaders. Maintain responsibility for leveraging current processes to create, plan, and lead community relations, Community Service Relations (CSR), and Employee Volunteer programs and campaigns. Sponsor programs which are designed to engage our internal staff and build robust communities. Work to enhance the firms reputation and strive to improve the overall quality of life in the areas where we work and live. Serve as an external spokesperson to the non-profit and business communities and manage key nonprofit partnerships. Advise the firms leadership and employee-base on enhancing and promoting employee volunteer programs as an internal spokesperson, while continuing to support the firms overall business objectives and strategy. Partner with Booz Allen Hamilton leadership to focus on maintaining current program participants and generating new support and involvement for all community relations initiatives. Develop and implement effective campaign and program service models, design and oversee volunteer service opportunities which foster personal and professional development within the internal Booz Allen Hamilton community, maintain responsibility for internal staff and external contractors, and manage the strategic direction, technical resources, and operations of the community relations team. Spearhead efforts to build capabilities that will enable the community relations team to understand the impact and value of all program efforts nation-wide. Consult and advise the firms leadership and employee-base on enhancing and promoting employee volunteer programs, partner with leaders across the firm to drive their specific Community Relations strategies and initiatives, and manage the placement of internal Booz Allen Hamilton executives on targeted non profit boards. Work across various functions internally to ensure that all community relations programs align with market shaping programs, including defense, civil, and security and other firm efforts, including marketing and communications, diversity, market research, legal, and government relations.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -10+ years of experience in a progressively responsible role, culminating in a directly comparable position -Experience as a nonprofit consultant or as an executive within a nonprofit organization -Experience with Community Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), or Nonprofit leadership, marketing, or management. -Experience with researching, compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing market data -Experience with building and delivering professional presentations and reports -Knowledge of best practices, including concepts and ideas around philanthropy, volunteerism, skills-based volunteers, and pro bono contributions -BA or BS degree from a leading academic institution   Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
