If so, this is an opportunity to drive data quality process and technology solutions as a Senior Product Manager in the Business and Customer Intelligence (BICI) team. This is a high visibility role within the larger Online Services Division (OSD) that is focused on ensuring delivery of high quality business and customer data and information across the division.
The Senior Product Manager will be relied upon to provide thought leadership across the division on the design and implementation of standard data quality monitoring and measurements system capabilities, and will partner with business and technical stakeholders to build consensus on tailoring data quality processes to a complex information management environment. This individual will be a cross-divisional leader that coordinates key information system development and production processes across source systems, data warehouses, and business application systems to ensure quality and consistency.
Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager include:
Define metadata and system platform requirements for end-to-end data quality capabilities
Partner with business and engineering to design and implement data quality platform solutions
Drive consistency in data quality monitoring and measurement process and system capabilities across the division
Deliver a division-wide data quality scorecard and drive communications to key stakeholders
Analyze current data quality system capabilities and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve process and/or system defects
Partner with Finance to lead the adoption of the data governance charter and processes across OSD; and support the enterprise data policies and guidelines
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 8 or more years of demonstrated work experience in IT and information management, data administration, and business intelligence. Experience in an internet technology (online) business, and web analytics is required. The candidate must have demonstrated experience in data warehouse projects, with an emphasis on finance business intelligence systems, data quality management, and metadata management. The candidate should also have demonstrated experience in the following:
Data quality processes, data analysis on a data warehouse and/or source systems, and implementation experience in a large-scale, multi-user environment
Knowledge of databases, data transformations, and ETL processes; proficiency with SQL and entity-relationship diagrams required
Working knowledge of managing large, complex and rapidly changing data transmissions and how these data can be packaged for use in analytics
Leadership characterized by openness, trust, collaboration, respect, and an ability to provide innovation with proven experience in decision-making and strong implementation skills
Demonstrated experience facilitating and championing ongoing initiatives across departments/organizations
In addition, the following experience is desirable:
10+ years experience as a Information Manager in a technical environment
Excellent communication and problem solving skills, outstanding customer service orientation
Ambitious, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
Professional certifications such as PMP or Advanced project management Degree preferred
Ability to establish analytical rigor in decision making
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and reprioritize as necessary to align with current business objectives
A MS/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred
