As the pharmaceutical and biotech segments of the medical industry have flattened and contracted, the medical device business has taken off. A profitable, growing Medical Device manufacturer is developing first-in-class technology and expanding their commercial operations. A full product pipeline has led to the need to expand in select areas, and we are looking for a strategic planning professional to join the marketing team.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Manager will develop innovative programs to expand a very underdeveloped segment of the diabetes medical device market. The unique product platform has little competition and a dominant global market share, so the strategic challenge is to expand physician and patient awareness of the benefits of this innovative therapy. You will be responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of the global market development plan, including working closely with the sales force to implement new programs in the field. You will also plan and execute launches for a series of next-generation devices that will be commercialized over the next few years, including segmentation, positioning and branding for your assigned products.
A major part of this broadly-defined role will be to develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the Diabetes and Endocrinology field and development them as advocates for this innovative therapy. You will also manage alliances with external co-marketing partners, negotiating and collaborating with them to ensure that the overall market is expanded. Working in a matrix structure, you will interact closely with cross-functional team members from Sales, Medical Affairs, R&D and others. A rapidly expanding organization means significant opportunity exists for senior management and career development - we are looking to hire someone who can advance at least two levels within the organization during the course of their career.

A competitive base salary and bonus package provides on-plan total compensation in the range of 125-150K. Stock options and restricted stock units are granted on a quarterly basis, and an award-winning benefits package is also provided. Some limited financial assistance is available for relocation. SALARY: $105,000 - $130,000
BONUS: 15%
