Senior Director of Marketing

The Senior Director of Marketing will lead the Marketing group, and is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing corporate Marketing strategies to promote sustained market leadership and growth in changing market and business conditions. Responsibilities include strategic planning, advertising, corporate communications, public relations, market research,  direct marketing, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing strategy that enables the company’s growth objectives and enhances the company’s name and reputation in the marketplace.
• Develop marketing materials, effective lead generation programs, sales collateral, and incentive programs for sales team
• Lead and develop marketing department personnel
• Collaborate with other departments to develop effective market segment strategies
• Manage annual marketing budgets in accordance with corporate financial objectives
• Develop creative communications, public relations, and advertising plans to drive profitability and growth, and manage outside Marketing, Advertising, and PR firms
• Lead product development, new product launches, pricing, promotional programs, and exhibitions
• Analyze product and brand performance using internal and external data sources
• Monitor competition, and conduct competitive analysis and post-mortem analysis to evaluate effectiveness of marketing programs
• Develop, implement, and analyze qualitative and quantitative market research

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology required; MBA or advanced degree is preferred
• 10-15 years experience in senior marketing leadership role in a corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross-functional capacity with all departments and staff
• Significant experience with lead generation and direct response advertising
• Strong background in all aspects of Marketing
