JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an innovative, resourceful, interactive
MARKETING MANAGER - LOYALTY PROGRAMS to create and drive marketing programs utilizing online communities and developing social networking strategies. This role will build brand and customer loyalty, increase market share and build sales and renewals, with a strong emphasis on nurturing effective client relationships with end users. The position can be remote and/or a candidate may work out of our Monterey, California or Burr Ridge, Illinois locations. You will directly impact customer satisfaction and user activity through your effective interactive marketing outreach programs and initiatives. Heres what you will get to do:
- Develop and implement successful outbound and interactive marketing initiatives building brand awareness, drive market share, earn customer loyalty, foster community, drive user activity.
- Interact closely with functional groups to meet customer retention and loyalty goals.
- Represent the voice of the customer in new product development and enhancement plans.
- Drive viral marketing campaigns using next-generation social networking tools.
- Strong and effective cross-functional management responsibilities leveraging internal/external relationships.
- Develop lists, analyze and summarize click through interactive results, monitor traffic and content on websites insuring increased traffic, track performance and report out.
- Create and execute strategy for annual national user conference building community loyalty plans and provide end-user training.
Qualifications
Here is what YOU will need to be successful:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field. Masters degree preferred!
- 8+ years experience in loyalty marketing, to include direct marketing and basic understanding of online community dynamics, viral activation, customer relationship management
- Solid experience with online communities
- MUST know when/how to make a decision, problem solve, analyze, manage the project!
- Demonstrated success in executing campaigns designed to retain users of B2B web based products and services
- Effective ability to be a self-initiating influencer, building consensus and drive business
- Introduce awareness of new features, products, functionalities to new install base
- Understand the direct-response model
- MUST utilize latest social networking tools and technologies to create/market niche user communities
- Experience with creation, development, management, execution of events
- Strength in managing budgets and reporting results a MUST!
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Database programs experience a plus!
- Experience working with technology teams implementing social networking platforms. Integration with SalesForce.com a plus!
- MUST understand dynamics of ROI/metrics related to loyalty business/social networks!
