Marketing Director

Position Summary

The Marketing Director will drive the growth of a successful small but rapidly growing food brand in the US and Canada. This represents an exciting opportunity to build from an established base line and develop a significant size food business where the product and packaging performance are “best in class”.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and refine brand positioning and strategies.


• Develop strategic and annual marketing plans.


• Work with distribution partners, build appealing and effective AMP programs and ensure their effective execution.


• Support GM in directing and managing distribution partner’s commercial expansion by trade class and geography.


• Work with and support distributor’s sales and account managers and brokers in the field in both grocery and food service channels.


• Develop launch plans for new products, including channel strategies.

Position Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus.


• 6 plus years relevant experience in consumer goods, food industry marketing and sales experience preferred.


• Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts


• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint


• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.


• Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required
