MARKETING MANAGER
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Plans
Develop annual strategies, objectives and budgets for the entire Brand.
Develop the Holistic planning document for the Brand that outlines the Brand Vision/Strategy and the Marketing/Brand Communications Strategy.
Work with Marketing Services and outside agencies to drive and create an Integrated/Holistic plan for the Brand (across all the elements of the marketing mix).
Work with Marketing and Sales teams to implement annual plans, tactics and budgets.
Manage Master Brand Budget with visibility to Functional budgets. Drive zero based budgeting process.
Monitor progress against objectives, develop recommendations and communicate as needed to achieve objectives.
Achieve annual profit, market share, and budget objectives.
Business Management
Analyze and understand key business trends, track and report business results weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Provide recommendations to address issues in a timely manner.
Effectively coordinate and provide direction to:
1. Outside agencies (advertising, promotion, design, research, etc.).
2. Internal functional support teams/task forces.
Drive new product process to bring consumer focused innovation to area.
Industry/Market Contacts
Work with sales, brokers and staff on regular market visits to understand issues/achievements.
Participate in customer calls to understand issues and implement plans.
Staff Development
Develop skills of team to prepare for promotion/job rotation.
Criteria:
MBA required - 4 year degree
CPG Marketing a must
Food Marketing
