OVERVIEW
- Senior Product Manager within highly specialized medical device company.
- Position will manage products for the physician office market which is comprised of internal medicine, family physicians, rheumatology and endocrinology.
- Core responsibilities include growing the base business and launching the next generation platform in
early 2010.
- High visibility position focused managing the company’s core business and main revenue generator.
- Reports to Vice President of Marketing.
- Growth company with corresponding career & growth opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Functions
- Experience in managing all aspects of product marketing.
- Key responsibilities include increasing product penetration into physician office market, increasing
utilization with existing customers, product launches, product positioning, sales tool development, sales
training support, customer education support, forecasting and pricing.
- Analyze and interpret market trends.
- Foster relationships with key clinicians.
Related Medical Device Experience
- 6+ years of medical device experience
- Experience marketing to the physician office market
- In-depth experience working with and marketing to clinicians
- Experience within high tech device arena preferred
- BA/ BS degree in business administration or life sciences, MBA is a plus
Required Skills
- Successful track record in changing clinical practice in the physician office market
- Significant product launch experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to deliver results with multiple and complex projects in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
