Senior Director Product Marketing

Widely recognized national restaurant chain is looking for a Senior Director of Product Marketing to develop profitable and innovative product initiatives.  This role will be primarily responsible for Product Strategy and Positioning and will work closely with Brand Communications, Culinary, Finance, Operations, Procurement and the company’s vendors/agencies.  The Senior Director will indentify business and consumer opportunities for the brand and must be able to articulate a strategy and set of actionable tactics for use by the Products Management team that will drive profitable sales for the organization.  The individual selected for this role will partner with Consumer Insights and Finance in order to know their business segment, its growth rate, profitability, market trends, competitor information and use this as a basis for growth plans for product marketing.  This role will work collaboratively across all the disciplines including the Executive Team and Franchise Committees to secure by-in and drive issues to resolution that impact product management and development.  This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will be based at the corporate office in Spartanburg SC. 

Requirements:

The individual selected for this role will have a minimum of 7-10 years strong product marketing experience with in the restaurant industry.  This includes all phases of bringing new products and features to market, from conception to launch and on-going improvements.  Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, communication and analytical skills are a must.  Organization is looking for an individual who is creative and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial culture that is fast paced and reflective of the ever-changing restaurant industry.  A Bachelors Degree is required, an MBA is preferred.
