Power Marketing and Origination Manager

Must have energy/power industry experience Power Marketing and Origination Manager will be responsible for implementing the organizational power marketing strategy.  This includes the coordination of various types of structured transactions ranging from physical power sale agreements, financial hedging, and power wheeling.  The Manager will be expected to coordinate activities and valuations with the quantitative analytics and project sales group.

Qualified Candidates will posses the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.  Master’s degree is preferred.


• 3+ years direct experience in power origination/business development including negotiations on rates and contracts.  This experience must include an understanding of applicable regulations for regional wholesale energy market, transportation components of each commodity, state of business affairs within each market, and fundamental aspects of both supply and demand.


• Able to identify and analyze pertinent data and information associated with potential transactions in order to enhance value.


• Superb communication skills both written and oral (ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and external contacts).


• Demonstrated competence with MS office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
