Division Manager

The DM, BAMS will be responsible for First Datas strategic partnership with the Bank of American Merchant Services joint venture with the ultimate goal of accelerating new product development and commercialization. Reporting to the SVP Equity Services, this person will be instrumental to the success of the alliance with Bank of America as both a service provider and equity partner.   The Division Manager will have full responsibility for strategy, client relationships and decision making for the BAMS alliance and direct influence over existing and potential business revenue.

Responsibilities include:

· Provide overall leadership to BAMS Alliance function, including managing relationships with numerous clients directly and indirectly.

· Strategically directs, plans and leads organization while ensuring growth and profitability.

· Work closely with First Data stakeholders and Board Members to educate them on BAMS issues

· Ensure timely resolution of product and service related issues through executive involvement and escalation.

· Establish, maintain and manage an effective organization to ensure overall performance.

· Develop and motivate staff to peak performance - a best in class organization. Provide leadership and promote positive relationships both within and outside the company.

· Ensure programs are in compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

Candidate requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the payment processing industry, with in depth knowledge of merchant acquiring operations, products and sales. This person will have successfully managed key relationships with banks, key stakeholders and merchants.

Specific requirements:

· Track record of running merchant acquiring business, with success of achieving profitability goals and service levels

· Previous experience in commercializing, marketing and selling new services through a variety of channels

· Demonstrated success in customer satisfaction and quality

· Proven success in developing and nurturing a variety of relationships both internally and externally

· Experience with operational issues from both a service provider and customer perspective

· Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to challenge status quo, influence key stakeholders and drive business agenda

· Bachelors degree required
