Description : • Storage Product Marketing: Ethernet Controller Business Unit
• Responsible for storage market strategy, product definition and go-to-market plans
• Responsible for developing detailed Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) for new and existing network and storage technologies
• Drive marketing requirements through all phases of product life cycle
• Develop strong customer relationships with strategic OEM accounts in the target markets to drive and also understand and predict future product requirements
• Understand the storage market including trends and the competitive landscape
• Work with engineering to develop new feature and product requirements
• Responsible for demand creation and revenue generation through new features in current and new markets
• Create launch plans and marketing collateral for sales field and customers that drive design wins along with revenue and market share growth
• Clearly and persuasively communicate the company’s vision and unique product benefits to a varied set of audiences including internal teams, industry analysts and customers
Job Requirements : • Detailed knowledge of the FCoE and iSCSI storage markets and products
• Detailed knowledge of networking technology including Ethernet, TOE, iSCSI and RDMA a plus
• Experience working in the PC market and with major tier-1 OEMs driving new technologies
• Proven track record of generating revenue with products based on new technologies
• Experience with all phases of product life cycle: definition, development, product launch, production, maturity and end-of-life
• Minimum of 7 years experience in product marketing or technical marketing
• Proven product definition experience including writing detailed Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs)
• Ability to manage customer and strategic requirements through the product life cycle
• Strong interpersonal skills at engineering, customer and management levels
• Excellent communication skills at a technically detailed level, both written and oral
• BSEE/BSCS degree and MBA/MSEE/MSCS preferred
