Retail Marketing Manager - Brand Extension

INVISTA’s Performance Surfaces & Materials (PS&M) Business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Retail Marketing Manager - STAINMASTER® Brand extensions.  

Our search is focused on a marketing professional with a proven track record of brand management, implementation of marketing strategies, and development of partner licensing relationships.  We are seeking a creative individual with excellent project management skills and the ability to expand INVISTA branding with our retail clients.  This professional will also participate in multi-functional teams within the Residential business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of marketing efforts for products licensed under the STAINMASTER® name through third parties.


• Liaison with STAINMASTER® brand licensing partners on marketing efforts


• Coordinate partner participation in STAINMASTER® promotions


• Coordinate new products and line extension introduction with STAINMASTER® brand licensees


• Increase awareness and support of line extensions by field marketing resources


• Increase distribution of STAINMASTER® line extensions at retail

 Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of brand management or other consumer brands to retail marketing experience


• Experience in improving brand positioning and communications at retail


• Demonstrated success in in-store communications; examples include point-of-purchase materials, collateral, signage, direct mail and email blasts.
  
  
  
  • Experience in technical marketing skills including development of marketing plans, strategy, target audience development, brand positioning, and related. 
  
  
  • Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and translating into clear opportunities.
  
  
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
  
  
  
  

 Preferences:

• 4 year college degree, preferred. MBA a plus.


• Durable goods marketing experience a plus
