Key Activities:

• Manage the North American marketing function


• Provide leadership to the marketing team to develop strategies and execute plans


• Support the commercial team in running each of their sector-based campaigns


• Interface with marketing contacts at Partner organisations

Key Objectives:

• Effectively manage the North American based Marketing team (3 people)


• Develop & execute HCL AXON’s marketing plans in North America


• Build brand recognition in our target market


• Define, identify and understand the needs of our core target audience


• Facilitate the development of individual relationships in our customer / partner base


• Deepen client relationships through contact network management (supporting events and 1 to 1 engagement)

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

• 10-15 years marketing experience and a minimum 4 years marketing management experience


• Demonstrable Professional Services’ marketing experience


• Strong understanding of the key marketing methods utilised by a professional services/consultancy organisation


• Experience of implementing marketing campaigns across a number of regions, as well as strong content knowledge of business development and marketing techniques


• Experience developing, managing  and executing a marketing plan to budget


• Brand management experience a plus


• Effectively manage partner marketing relationships – e.g. SAP


• Strong content and thought leadership in the areas of market and business development across a variety of industry sectors


• Ability to develop and enhance HCL AXON’s differentiators


• Ability to establish credibility quickly with Executive management


• Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve both internal and external complex or disputed issues


• Ability to manage, mentor and develop a small team


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter with ability to learn quickly, is pragmatic and delivery focused


• Hands-on leadership – willing to help your team deliver their day-to-day activities
