Senior Marketing Manager - Demand Generation
(Location: Mountain View, CA)


As a key member of the marketing team, you will play an instrumental role in the growth of the company by contributing directly to the sales pipeline. This position will report to Director of Marketing, and work closely with product marketing, inside sales and sales managers to strategize, formulate and execute the  lead generation plan in support of marketing and sales objectives.


Responsibilities



  • Manage the creation and execution of innovative and integrated marketing campaigns that fill the pipeline and mature existing opportunities.  This includes strategy, creative direction, campaign objectives, messaging and validation

  • Assess, augment, and cleanse in-house database and lists for effective contact management and to improve program results

  • Develop program documentation that articulate details such as objectives, target audience, key message, program sequencing, metrics and call to actions

  • Coordinate lead generation activities with Inside Sales team and implement processes to systematically capture, qualify, and nurture leads

  • Leverage powerful marketing automation tools to build and measure nurturing programs for target prospects segments, defining the optimal touch point and tactics with various integrated channels

  • Manage external agencies to ensure relevant messaging and on-time creative services

  • Establish quarterly lead forecast with Sales and Marketing Management and deliver leads per agreed upon targets

  • Capture, monitor and analyze relevant data across all campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and optimize ROI


Qualifications



  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred - A minimum of 5 years of marketing program management or demand generation experience at established firms.

  • Proven success in the development and implementation of innovative, high impact, integrated B-to-B marketing programs in the software industry

  • Excellent writing, communication, and editorial skills with superb attention to detail

  • Prior experience building strong working relationships with Sales and Inside Sales managers

  • Extensive prior experience with Salesforce.com

  • Passionate, self-starter and proven team skills in a high achievement-oriented environment. Ability to think strategically while working tactically.
