Senior Product Marketing Manager
(Location: Mountain View, CA)

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager’s role is to understand the target customer and drive programs and sales/marketing materials that influence decision makers to purchase our products. Moreover, this role brings the voice of the target customer into everything we do and evangelizes our solutions to the market. This position will work closely with Sales, Product Managers and the executive team to create product and competitive positioning, launch new products, conduct market studies and create effective marketing programs and materials. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the overall market landscape, including competitors and potential partners


• Developing robust sales tools and collateral, including white papers, presentations, sales training materials, data sheets, and web site content to influence and close deals


• Interfacing with key industry press and analysts


• Evangelizing and providing product expertise at marketing events, seminars, conferences, and customer meetings as required


• Supporting demand generation efforts with compelling value propositions and product messaging

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred. A minimum of 4 years experience in B-to-B product marketing for a leading technology company


• Knowledge of enterprise marketing and sales processes


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to translate strategy into clear and actionable plans


• Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment


• Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market


• Proven success in driving go-to-market plans with clear, competitive differentiation and compelling revenue growth
