Responsible for the identification, qualification and capture of new Army business opportunities for the Defense Sector. Identify Information Technology service opportunities greater than $5M per year in revenue.
The candidate will lead the development and execution of a campaign plan to capture a set of Army IT related opportunities. Required to translate the customer requirements to a specific opportunity and capture strategy. Responsible for developing teams of industry partners that contribute experience, capabilities and/or customer knowledge specific to the opportunity.
Responsible for the complete Army DOIM (NEC) account management responsibility including defining customer requirements, researching customer budgets for project viability, developing the capture strategy, supporting the competitive analysis and facilitating in-house subject mater experts to build winning solutions that address customer needs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities• Bachelors of Science in business or technical discipline plus 3 years business development experience in the US Army market.
• Strong knowledge of the Army and DOD IT Services market
• Knowledge of the capabilities and experience of companies working in the DOD and Army IT markets.
• Ability to research and support competitive analysis activities
• Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication.
• Possess active listening skills.
• Proven ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Desire to make an impact in a privately owned, mid-size and results oriented company
• Set high personal standards of performance, seek out new challenges, and initiate activities
