Director, Visual Collaboration Product Management

Responsibilities:

Bentley currently seeks a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful team as Director, Visual Collaboration Product Management located at our corporate headquarters in Exton, PA. This individual will be responsible for setting the vision and pace to become the leading visual collaboration solution provider in the AEC market. Visual collaboration is defined as a technology solution enabling multiple individuals to view and comment on plant or building designs, 3D models or process flow, 2D drawings for bridges, roads and railways.  

Overall, you will be responsible for defining how to grow their product line, creating execution strategies that leverage Bentley’s go to market competencies and ensuring company-wide execution excellence. Strategically, the Director will define the product vision, gather and prioritize market requirements, and work closely with engineering and sales to deliver winning products. Tactically, the individual will coordinate company resources to develop, maintain, support, sell, deliver and service their products.

Specific to your Visual Collaboration charter, you will work with Bentley executive management to:
       - Craft a successful product line based on current effort. 
       - Continue to refine current product strategy by analyzing industry and customer trends.
       - Create and communicate a product roadmap.

You will work with counterparts in development, sales and marketing to:
       - Design a winning development plan.
       - Develop and analyze win - loss reports.
       - Properly position and price the product line to end users.

You will manage a small team of product managers, but will highly influence other aspects of development.

Qualifications:

• Proven management experience, demonstrating a highly motivated, goal-driven individual, experienced in leading cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 7-10 years experience as a successful product line manager.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in collaborative software or design review software.
• Strong knowledge of the infrastructure (AEC) software market is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Knowledge and experience of Agile development work process is preferred.
• Strong ability to interact and communicate with executive management
• Must be able to travel 20-35% of the time both domestically and internationally.
