Summary of position

Leading Television Advertising Agency is seeking a Director of Client Services in Portland, OR corporate office.  Candidate should have considerable experience in campaign account supervision. Experience in direct response television creative/production, direct marketing and clear understanding of ROI driven advertising and marketing campaigns would be a major plus!

Candidate must be able to work in high pressure, team environment providing leadership & hands on experience in three key areas:

Director of Client Services:  

• Expert understanding of managing Client’s thru creative/production process


• Hires, trains and oversees a staff of Account Executives and provide strong leadership/mentoring.


• Participates in agency process development, deployment and training

General Responsibilities

• High level Client Account Management


• Budgeting/ Timeline Creation


• New business/ pitch work


• Campaign Development


• Complete assignments &/ or agreements within deadlines.


• Communicates agencies points of view to client


• Assures client development and satisfaction


• Client entertainment


• Communicates client issues and opportunities to CEO and VP of R2 and involves them when appropriate


• Serves on R2 Management Committee


• Motivates, coaches, counsels and delegates project work to staff


• Facilitates staff reviews and deals with performance issues

Supervises the following staff:

• Account Directors


• Account Supervisors


• Account Executives


• Account Coordinators
