VP, Product Development and Management

General Summary
This VP will work closely with the Client Services organization within Asurion to help develop the next generation of handset protection products.  This position will also help manage todays products for all of Asurion’s clients which include the nation’s leading wireless providers.  This position will work closely with senior management, the Program Management team, our current & potential clients, the sales & support team, and IT to develop a stronger overall product portfolio and translate our content into market opportunities driving new and existing product revenue.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•    Supports the SVP in executing against revenue, subscriber growth, and customer experience objectives through strategic product management and development.
•    Plan and direct product development policies, objectives and initiatives
•    Develop a strong team of professionals who work toward delivering innovation via ongoing new product concepts and designs
•    Continually reevaluates existing products to improve both customer experience and the bottom line and manages product lifecycles
•    Ensure increased use of information and research in product management and marketing decisions
•    Works closely with IT, Client Services, Care and Supply Chain teams to exploit new technologies to bring new products and capabilities to the marketplace
•    Understands and communicates marketing trends, competitive pressures, and other factors that may influence the company’s product roadmap
•    Manages product portfolio priorities across clients and products
•    Owns product financial performance
•    Partners with operational functions to drive customer experience
•    Provides product and client financial reporting

Qualifications
•    BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or related field is require; MBA and/or CFA is a plus
•    Requires 10 or more years of experience in product management (strategic planning and financial analysis)
•    Knowledge of the wireless industry preferred.
•    Strong interpersonal skills required to interface with all levels of the company.
