Intuit is a leading software provider of business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, consumers and accounting professionals. We are currently going through a fundamental transformation from a shrink-wrapped software company to one of the countrys leading providers of web-based applications and solutions.

Come join Intuit as part of the Accounting Professionals Division (APD) team as a Marketing Leader. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

Key responsibilities and challenges for this executive include:
• Insight: Partner with product management to glean customer insights that lead to new offerings. Steer those new ideas through our development pipeline by sizing the market opportunity, prioritizing and positioning product features to ensure we build solutions that pay off our customer insights and will resonate in the market place.
• Innovate: Develop innovative, customer-driven marketing plans that will lead to customer purchase and usage
o Size the market oppty
o Identify & segment customers, product positioning
o Create innovative monetization models, incl. pricing, promotions and non-user paid revenue streams
o Develop strategic benefit messaging
o Develop a hypothesized forecast of key performance indicators
o Work "the funnel"
Drive high interest, awareness, consideration
Convert consideration into trial & purchase
Convert purchase into 1st use experience
o Inspire and accelerate customer word-of-mouth to tell their peers and clients about our great solutions
• Iterate: Create learning plans, including frequent input from customers, to rapidly experiment, learn and iterate on our marketing plans with a cycle of daily, weekly and monthly changes to continuously improve growth outcomes.
o Develop dashboards and financial forecasts with key performance indicators to monitor how the business is performing and drive for great growth outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Attract, retain and grow world-class marketing talent.
o Create a high performing organization that consistently exceeds the expectations of employees, customers, and shareholders.
o Develop a talent management plan that supports the strategic and future needs of the business and drives for efficiencies and improves effectiveness.
Qualifications: • 10-15 years of marketing experience, including 5-7 years of building and leading strong teams, bringing new offerings to market, and driving revenue & customer growth.
• Demonstrated track record of discovering key customers insights into their barrier beliefs/behaviors, creating innovative plans to overcome those barriers to drive purchase/usage and relentless drive for rapidly iterating to continually improve results.
• Accountability for results: a clear track record of taking ownership for engaging employees, delighting customers and driving dramatic growth through successful marketing strategies and execution, preferably for a company selling SaaS/technology-related solutions to small businesses.
• Web & Social Marketing - successful experience and expertise in use of the web to drive marketing and sales.
• Customer-focused - tenacious about peeling the layers to understand customer behaviors and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have with Intuit.
• Strategic thinker - the ideal candidate will combine classic strategic marketing skills with experience in multi-channel marketing/distribution of practical products and services.
• Partnering - track record of success working and influencing in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, being persuasive and effective to meet goals even where no direct reporting relationship exists
• Talent stewardship - able to attract, grow and retain talented employees and lead the team to become a high performing, highly engaged organization.
• Leader teacher - strong marketing expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and teach marketing and leadership principles and practices throughout the company.
• Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree with advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, MA)
