Key Role:
Demonstrate knowledge of the program life-cycle from concept development to fielding actual programs. Develop business, sell new work to current clients, and seek out new opportunities. Develop a marketing strategy and execute the strategy by positioning, proposing, and winning new work. Provide analytical support for the oversight of large proposal efforts, formulation of contracts, operating budgets, financial management terms of contracts, and program review sessions with clients. Lead a team of 45+ staff and provide professional training for the staff to ensure advancement. Establish a secondary team of leaders who can backfill during the continual expansion of responsibilities and develop the secondary team by positioning them for growth and development. Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems, develop solutions, direct the establishment of criteria and engineering support for research, and development, integration, and test programs.
