Senior Director of Lean BPM Product Marketing & Product Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all product management activities, including market sizing, competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, opportunity analysis and create/revise the product roadmap.
- Establish short term and long term product marketing plans to drive optimal business results.
- Develop presentations for customers, prospects, analysts, sales, and partners.
- Oversight and development of sales training tools.
- Promote Company leadership for Lean BPM & Mashups through industry forums, whitepapers, bylines, speaking engagements, newsletter content, etc.
- Solution positioning and messaging on the web and printed collateral including case studies, product fact sheets, solution briefs, brochures, etc.
- Market analysis including sizing, growth, trends, industry dynamics, etc.
- Development of marketing and solution launch plans for lead generation.
- Oversight on track and measure results of all marketing and lead generation activities to determine effectiveness of each type of campaign and to ensure quality and consistency.
- Exercises excellent judgment in making sound, well informed, fact-based decisions.
- Collaborate with the CEO, VPs of Sales, R&D, Corporate Marketing, and other key members of the executive team to define detailed quarterly and annual product management & product marketing plans and budgets.
- Capture, analyze, and report key metrics to measure the effectiveness of all product management & product marketing activities and adjust plans accordingly.
- Performance will be evaluated in areas such as execution to plan/budget, product sales growth, product and customer knowledge, understanding of the sales cycle, brand recognition, and metrics such as market share, customer satisfaction, analyst ratings and product strength versus competitors.
Skills:
- At least 5 years of product management & product marketing experience in software, Enterprise Application or BPM industry in marketing related functions.
- Working Knowledge of BPM Products & Technologies.
- Exceptional ability to match market requirements with technology and messaging to compel action by buyers.
- Excellent analytical skills to distill market knowledge into actionable plans that produce results.
- Candidates must be self-starters, highly motivated, and have the proven ability to multi-task activities.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate a product vision and messages. Very strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytic skills including the ability to do market research and analysis, detailed competitor and pricing analyses.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to facilitate dialog and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills to create shared visions and accomplish team goals.
- BA/BS required MBA preferred, ideally with marketing concentration.
- The job requires up to 25% travel.
