JOB DESCRIPTION

Focused on development and integration of communication outreach, to assist in the research and coordination of informational products, development of marketing plans with the purpose of educating, informing, and promoting awareness of the significant contributions of USASMA, focusing on publics, media and influencers, both military and government, to gain and retain continued support of current and future programs and initiatives. Provide strategic communications and marketing plans that support USASMA/CAC/TRADOC/ARMY policies, programs, and initiatives and integrate these products with USASMA level activities. The strategic communications and marketing plans shall address policies, programs, and initiatives that are identified by the Contracting Officer or his/her representative. Each strategic communications and marketing plan shall address the governments goals, a recommended methodology and timeline, estimated resource costs, and an expected outcome. If directed by the COR, the contractor shall present and discuss strategic communications and marketing plans with representatives of USASMA or CAC or TRADOC. They shall develop concepts for engagement of key influencers, media, and publics.
Requires BS/BA degree.
Requires education/training in related field.
Requires 8-10 years experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
Experience applicable to a wide range of duties involving oral and written communication principles, methods, practices, and techniques; analytical methods; and interpersonal relations practices, skill in applying such knowledge in devising, formulating, and executing strategic communications strategies that promote awareness, understanding, and support USASMA missions, programs, and activities among a general public and pertinent internal and external audience, including foreign audiences, knowledge and skill in writing to develop communications plans.
Experience in oral communication in order to present briefing and develop speeches to a variety of senior management, knowledge and skill sufficient for developing communications messages that increase communication with USASMAs various publics, knowledge and advanced skill in use of analytical and evaluative methods in order to address highly complex issues impacting the command, understanding of DOD and Army regulations governing the release of information to the public.
