JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
This position reports to the Vice President of Retention Marketing and is responsible for the strategy and implementation of DISH Network promotions for all 13.6 million existing customers. This individual commands a team with cross functional teams to ensure successful development and ongoing management of analytical marketing initiatives. The General Manager will create and manage analytical projects aimed at mitigating and reducing customer churn and increasing customer loyalty including offer analysis, customer segmentation and proactive retention campaign analysis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive all analytical initiatives related to the core strategies behind existing customer marketing initiatives including:
- Customer segmentation, differentiated treatments, promotional offers and operational execution.
- Development of come to market strategies for new products, promotions and communications for DISH Network
- Frontline retention programs and develops strategies to have immediate impacts to reduce customer churn.
- Strategies to reduce churn and delinquency for customers that cannot or do not pay for their service.
- Collaborate with operations, IT and executive leadership in order to implement initiatives with effective results.
- Drive proactive marketing initiatives aimed at saving at risk customers and bringing back former customers.
- Create and manage the next generation of customer loyalty programs for DISH Network
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA from 4-year college or university. Finance or Marketing degree preferred or related analytical experience. Masters degree / MBA is beneficial.
- 8-10 years of marketing analysis related experience.
- Strong database marketing and analysis skills
- Extensive team leadership and project management experience.
- Experience in leading cross-function teams to achieve results.

- Consumer Insight: Ability to become "voice of the consumer" to influence strategy / program development.
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter, independently initiating and driving projects toward completion.
- Leadership skills to manage and strengthen a marketing organization.
- Solid planning skills and tools.
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- Outstanding Microsoft Office skills are required with a high level of proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
