This well leveraged, highly successful Manhattan based Private Equity firm is in process of adding to a strong executive team to build bench strength and continue to strengthen their portfolio. Current mission is to locate a strong EVP Sales & Marketing/eBusiness for Texas manufacturer of consumer products for the youth market.
This company is looking for a deep eBusiness strategist to carry them forward in the eCommerce and Digital realm. The EVP will spend considerable focus on the eBusiness need. The ideal candidate will have a deep eBusiness background - someone who can fully drive the whole eBusiness strategy – create the vision, develop the strategy and then implement. Someone who has taken a traditional products company to the web and significantly increased topline growth. MUST HAVE previous significant success driving topline growth through the web. The EVP should have proven e-Business experience that has not only moved consumer goods through brick-and-mortar but a track record of transforming business through multiple products, multiple channels, new and creative branding or products that realized new e-Business environment far from the traditional starting point (totally transformative). Previous experience should include products sold to the youth market.
The EVP will have tried and true leadership capability to drive topline results through youth market e-business or relevant e-business experience, current web, brand building, and demand marketing along with strong sales leadership.

The Company sells products that are timeless and traditional in nature. That is both the source of its historic strength and tremendous profitability as well as the challenge to its future growth.
The Company’s products remain largely unchanged over the last few decades. However, during that time, the consumption patterns of its consumers has changed rapidly in conjunction with the adoption of new technologies that have permanently changed the media/communication landscape and the social behavioral patterns of America’s youth.
The EVP of the Company will play a critical role in establishing the future strategy of The Company through the continuation of the company’s current best practices and the adoption of an aggressive e-commerce strategy designed to make the business more relevant to the modern consumer. The EVP will report to the CEO and assume broad responsibilities for the development and execution of future business strategy.
The EVP will play a major role in generating the Company’s growth and shaping its overall business strategy. He/She will work closely with the CEO in assessing the risks and opportunities of new products and distribution channels – and how these channels inter-relate with the Company’s existing network of independent representatives. The EVP will drive new marketing, product development, the introduction of e-commerce and oversee a branding innovation. He/She must be a constant and passionate leader to the direct distribution sales while working to develop alternative modes of distribution in order to better serve the Company’s customers.
The EVP will be tasked with assessing and developing current talent and working with the CEO to continue to build a talented managerial organizational structure that will drive business growth.
