We are seeking a visionary leader who will develop and execute the global marketing plan, strategies, priorities and marketing goals for the business.  This person will be directly responsible for significantly increasing the level of sales for the company, while at the same time enhancing and improving the positioning and image of the brand.    This person will have executive oversight over all company marketing communications, internally and externally.  This person will develop, communicate and execute the overall marketing vision for the company, while fully leveraging the potential of associates and vendors to communicate our key message to our customer base.  This position is not for the faint of heart, nor for those individuals seeking a 40 hour work week. 


 


Primary Responsibilities:





  1. Champion how to best launch, promote and market our products via traditional and non-traditional channels, while ensuring that these initiatives provide ROI

  2. Expand market share through creative and innovative business models

  3. Develop and oversee media and non-media Marketing, Advertising and PR Budgets

  4. Proactive planning of marketing campaigns throughout the year

  5. Clearly articulate company objectives and strategies to maximize the contributions of internal and external partners

  6. Monitor current market conditions and to ensure marketing plans reflect changing business environments

  7. Monitor overall marketing plans to ensure spending reflects anticipated return and incorporates key learnings and competitive activities on an ongoing basis.  Oversee positioning and relevance for product, segment, and brand

  8. Drive core brand growth through innovation and enhancements to our website (design, content, etc) and marketing communications

  9. Conduct post mortem analysis (financial results, field hits & misses, competitive activity) to generate lessons learned for strategic and tactical changes to future campaigns

  10. Attract and build the talent needed to drive the marketing department forward


 


Experience:





  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience at an executive level  – majority of which is concentrated on online marketing

  • Extensive experience growing and managing an explosive brand

  • Expertise working in multiple facets of marketing, including, but not limited to brand development, email marketing, viral/social online community development , PPC, SEO, retail marketing, trade marketing, promotions, publicity, television marketing and radio marketing

  • Ability to orchestrate high level performance by leading, managing and building a successful marketing team   

  • Ability to articulate marketing vision to Senior Management, staff, vendors and customers
