Strategic Offer Marketing Manager - EMC Consulting

GENERAL SUMMARY

Leads and drives marketing direction for EMC Consulting top-level campaigns.  Senior member of the organization that contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.  In addition is called upon as a consultant and key contributor on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads and drives development and execution of campaigns and integrated marketing programs to present the full value proposition of EMC Consulting.


• Manages cross-practice campaign launches, core positioning and messaging, sales training and marketing program strategy and execution.


• Assesses market dynamics and requirements, understands business priorities, develops recommendations for campaign and integrated marketing direction, establishes marketing and plans and strategies for assigned area.  Gains executive management and cross-functional buy-in.


• Guides development of thought leadership to support campaigns in assigned area.  


• Guides campaign introductions and updates in assigned area.


• Guides press and industry analyst relations strategies for assigned area.


• Also responsible for campaign business plan, forecasts, and return on investment analysis.


• Position requires ability to interface with all levels of organization including the executive management team as well as external customers, internal customers and organizations, press & industry analysts.

SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years experience.


• Must have experience developing go-to-market strategies for a consulting company or organization.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Strong business writing skills.


• Understanding of EMC Consulting services and their value added to the customer.


• Good understanding of the consulting services competition.


• Possesses strong consulting services industry knowledge.


• Problem solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively with senior management.


• Excellent project management skills.


• Experience with press and industry analyst strategies and relationships.
