JOB DESCRIPTION
Come join Intuit as part of the Marketing team as a Video Event Producer. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.
The Intuit MediaLab is responsible for creating rich media content that helps tell the Intuit story for internal and external audiences. The Video Event Producer will own and coordinate complex live internal company events incorporating a wide variety of content and technology, including live video, recorded video, videoconferencing, screen capture, desktop video, etc. This role will also manage rich media content on our corporate intranet.
Job Responsibilities:
• Act as single point of contact Producer for live Intuit internal web broadcasts and other internal events
• Work with internal customers to determine resource requirements and manage customer expectations
• Coordinate internal A/V resources as necessary; coordinate with Facilities group to ensure in room equipment is tested and operational; coordinate with Information Technology group to ensure back end technology is operational
• Hire and manage contractor A/V resources (equipment and personnel) as needed
• Act as TD and Producer for broadcasts; direct camera operators during broadcast.
• Schedule and run production meetings and rehearsals
• Technical coordination of AV equipment (videoconferencing integration, staging, sound, lights, projections & screen(s), scan converters, technician direction and management)
• Stage management
• Streaming broadcast coordination, direction and management
• Assist Event Planner with recommendation on A/V resources for external events
• Work with internal IT and intranet team to implement new video technology including user generated content
• Track and troubleshoot customer issues with network video (live and on demand), provide end user support as necessary
Qualifications: • Excellent Project Management skills, including managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent documentation skills
• Proven track record in producing live events, preferably in the corporate environment
• Calm demeanor under the pressure of a live broadcast
• Knowledge of Qumu technology helpful
• Video compression experience
• Adobe Photoshop skills
• Apple Final Cut Studio skills
• Technical knowledge of a wide variety of audio and video equipment
