Partner Manager, Windows Live - 703341

The Partner Mgmt and Marketing team is looking for a partner manager to take the point on a series of complex relationships. This person will be seen as the primary relationship manager for a series of complex relationships for the Windows Live Business primarily focused on deploying and marketing Windows Live services through global partners.

Responsibilities will include:
-Serving as the primary relationship owner for the partnerships within the BG
-Partnering with business development, product management, marketing, sales and ops to deliver expected partner impact
-Partnering effectively with field sales & marketing plus vertical channel teams (OEM & Comm Sector) to identify and close issues and/or opportunities
-Balancing long-term health of the relationship with short term deadlines
-Driving partner insight and gathering partner requirements for product management
-Effectively advocating for Microsoft within the partner organization and serving as their champion internally within Microsoft
-Providing regular communication and status on the partnership up through executive leadership

The ideal candidate will have:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills
-Ability to communicate, negotiate and work with internal and external partners at multiple levels within an organization
- Exceptional integrity and positive attitude 24/7
-Demonstrated creativity in dealing with business problems
-Self-starter who is proactive in managing complex problems
-7+ years experience in business development, partner management, marketing, or product management
-Prior experience with telecom and/or hardware vendors a plus

Education: BA required, MBA preferred
