Senior Product Manager - Windows Enterprise and Software Assurance

As a product manager for Windows 7 Enterprise Edition and Software Assurance you will play a critical role in shaping Windows 7 Enterprise Edition Story and SA with the industry, analysts, press and customers - driving value proposition creation, messaging and communication. You will also work with field as well as engineering teams to help enable Windows Enterprise adoption, as well as provide customer guidance to help drive adoption in the context of the 64 - bit trends in enterprise.

Specific responsibilities include:

-Windows 7 Enterprise and Software Assurance
-Drive strong Win client SA value proposition - working with SA
WWLP team to formulate Software Assurance value for the client; build SA benefits content and communication
-Drive Core Windows 7 Enterprise content and collateral
-Drive Windows 7 Enterprise SKU awareness and excitement with customers and internal field
-Support Win 7 Evaluation SKU distribution; collect and summarize customer feedback on W7 Evaluation to be used as input for the future evaluation versions planning
-Build and deliver repository of data, factoids, evidence and testimonials/ quotes supporting W7 Enterprise features and overall enterprise value - to be used in W7 content and communication
-Contribute to the future Enterprise differentiation planning
-Represent Windows client in the Software Assurance program and drive SA decisions to support Windows client business objectives
64-bit guidance to enterprise customers:
-Build an understanding of the commercial 64 bit adoption trends, by collecting customer, partner and analysts data
-Work with partner team to support the increased investment in 64-bit compatibility for the major enterprise applications as per customer feedback
-Build field messaging and core collateral (battle card, Q&As, elevator slide deck) on 64 bit adoption in the commercial space and customer guidance

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong strategic and critical thinking, and ability to deal with ambiguity; proven verbal and written communication skills and strong customer focus. The candidate must demonstrate passion for technology, and ability to be successful with complex cross-group projects. 5+ years of the product/ program management or related business experience. Background with enterprise space and product strategy is preferred. Technical background is desirable. MBA is a plus, while not required.
