If so, this is an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience as a Senior Web Analyst in the Business and Customer Intelligence (BICI) team. This is a high visibility role within the larger Online Services Division (OSD) that is focused on ensuring delivery of high quality business and customer data and information across the division.

We are looking for a seasoned and energetic professional to perform complex analysis on our web businesses, including Bing and MSN. The ideal candidate will have a background in the online industry, a proven track record of data-driven decision making, an aptitude for analytical thinking, an ability to bridge quantitative and qualitative worlds, and ability to think strategically. The candidate should have current experience with the web analytics in the large online, preferably, an ad-funded business. The candidate should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and present the insights in concise and effective manner. The candidate should be an effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution.

Responsibilities of the Senior Web Analyst include:
Apply comprehensive understanding of various business intelligence systems, tools, reports and data sets to improve data quality or to generate new insights
Perform complex analysis on very large data sets using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
Be familiar with basic statistical concepts and techniques to analyze experiments and user behavior
Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
Deliver on ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders, unclear requirements and incomplete data
Provide input to product management and planning teams on new analytical capabilities needed
Requirements:

8+ years of industry experience, including experience in web analytics
BS in engineering, or quantitative science; or applicable experience
Hands on experience with SQL Server BI tools: T-SQL scripting, SSIS, MDX, SSRS and C# is a must
