Join this team and contribute to advance and foster highly productive business partnerships, conduct the annual planning process to ensure Microsoft is “agency-ready”, establish a robust performance management system, contribute to effective decision-making and outstanding client/agency engagements, and assist Microsoft marketers in effectively taping into these valuable agency resources.

This position will be primarily responsible for:
Annual Agency Planning
o Lead company-wide global integrated marcom agency planning process
o Manage cross-functional teams internally and with external parties
o Ensure effective field communications and resource coordination
Agency/Client Performance Management
o Design, build and deliver agency/client performance management processes, tools and communications
o Provide direct oversight and ownership for Microsoft’s agency performance system
Annual Performance Assessment (APA)
Client/Agency Appraisals
Project Level Management (PLM)
Agency Reporting and Analysis
o Develop and roll out critical agency-related KPI and business intelligence
o Enable effective decision-making based on relevant insight
o Ensure robust delivery and use of agency-related reports
Digital Agency Management
o Provide management interface role for Microsoft’s digital lead agencies
o Provide thought-leadership and oversight of the digital agency model
As Marketing Manager, Agency Planning and Performance Management, you will have a major role in leading the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives aimed at improving our integrated marketing communications capability and enhancing the value of Microsoft’s advertising and marketing agencies to the company. Based in Redmond WA, this position will partner with peers within the Central Marketing Group, and will interface with various stakeholders in business groups at Corporate and subsidiaries around the world to plan and ensure the effective use of agency resources. This position will interface frequently with agencies and external vendors and will act as a corporate liaison between Microsoft and its agencies.

Knowledge & Skills required: 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
Extensive agency knowledge and working experience with advertising and marketing service agencies in integrated marketing communications.
Ability to think strategically and lead teams through successful execution
Strong communication, presentation and team collaboration skills
Strong planning, project management and organizational skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity, multi-task and manage projects under pressure
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
