Senior Manager Membership Marketing

CompTIA is the non-profit trade association advancing the global interests of information technology (IT) professionals and companies including manufacturers, distributors, resellers, and educational institutions. Our mission is to advance the global IT industry.  We currently are recruiting an individual for the position of Senior Manager, Marketing. 

The Senior Manager, Membership Marketing will assist in the development and management of all campaigns, tools, programs, and communications used to drive membership acquisition and retention and to promote new programs and initiatives

Job Responsibilities include:

• Communications and Tools: Oversee and develop content for every medium touched by members, prospective members, and the industry as a whole


• Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns to drive new member acquisition


• Help determine which trade shows and events CompTIA will participated in, develop pre and post show marketing campaigns and assist with on-site messaging, collateral and attendee engagement.

Minimum work experience required:

• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience


• Excellent writing skills


• Ability to adapt messaging to difference marketing mediums


• Detail oriented and organized


• Strong project management abilities


• BA degree

Preferred Experience:

Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in one or more of the following:

• Marketing programs, demand generation, product marketing, partner marketing


• IT Industry Channel, IT Manufacturer/Distributor, Association Marketing


• Salesforce.com and database management
