They provide software and processing solutions to institutions throughout the financial services industry, higher education, and the public sector; and helps enterprises of all types to maintain the continuity of their business through information availability services.

Our highly-valued client is presently seeking an Account Executive to prospect, develop, and enhance, company sales through new business channels.  The Account Executive’s territory will include Arizona and surrounding areas.
 
Responsibilities

•    Direct responsibility for the identification, contact, qualification, and development of viable new accounts.
•    Manage the prospecting plan development and execution for new accounts.
•    Manage the communication and internal coordination of the Sales Support infrastructure, Operations, and Executive team to insure customer education and satisfaction.
•    Manage the ongoing need to understand inter-related technologies that exist.
•    Continually update knowledge, and consider new options, as the business technologies expand and change.
•    Accountable for the development, execution and delivery of quality, solution-focused client presentations.
•    Responsibility for the initiation, arrangement, and attendance of client tours as required.
•    Ensure success with the seamless transition of clients from New Sales to the Strategic Sales management team.

Requirements

•    A college degree, or equivalent work experience, is required.
•    Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience within a large technical account environment.
•    Proven expertise in managed services high availability solutions, telecommunications, consulting and hardware/software solution sales is highly preferred.
•    A consistent track record of achieving sales goals.
•    A deep network of business contacts in Arizona and surrounding areas.
•    An exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision-makers.
•    A consistent track record of achieving sales goals.
•    A proven talent for making effective cold calls to target companies.
•    Expertise in developing relationships from a cold call or networking activity.
•    Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information, and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needs.
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
•    The demonstrated ability to effectively learn technical products, services, and solutions and readily apply new knowledge.
•    Proficiency in Windows-based applications (WORD, EXCEL and Power Point).
•    A minimum of 50% travel, as the business requires.
