The Corporate Communications Department of a large corporation located in Melville NY has the following immediate needs:

Director of Public Relations:

International Media Relations

MUST have international media relations experience!

• Must have strong media relations and international experience




• Must have a large number of prominent media contacts/ book of business

Responsibilities:

• Directing the implementation of a comprehensive public relations program to ensure a positive, uniform and consistent representation of the Company to all of its key constituents including, customers, suppliers, Executive Members, Investors and the general public.




• Preparing public announcements, speeches, articles and other written communications




• Work closely with  senior management to develop public relations activities in support of the Company’s strategic plan.

Job Requirements:

• MUST have INTERNATIONAL MEDIA RELATIONS experience




• strong media relations and international experience




• Must have a large number of prominent media contacts/ book of business




• Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications or equivalent.




• 10 plus years of experience in public relations, journalism or business writing as acquired in corporate, media, consulting or government affairs environment.




• Prior experience in public sector healthcare valuable.




• Outstanding written communications skills, strong grammatical aptitude and expert editing skills.    




• Sound knowledge of multimedia presentation techniques is essential




• Knowledge of multi-national communications valuable.
  

BASE SALARY to 150K + Bonus
